Simple Tofu Spaghetti

As simple as it gets, folks. You could of course build up your own tomato sauce from scratch using diced tomato, vegetable stock, salt & pepper, cumin and so forth. But this recipe is meant to throw something together quickly with ingredients from the cupboard.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 White Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Oregano
  • 2 tablespoon Basil
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme
  • 15 ounce Tomato Sauce
  • 13 ounce FirmEST Tofu

Directions

  1. Bring enough water to boil for whatever quantity of pasta you wish to make.
  2. While the past cooks, heat up a skillet to medium and cook your diced onion until slightly translucent.
  3. Add garlic and all of the herbs and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Crumble tofu directly in to the skillet and pour in your tomato sauce.
  5. Cook a few more minutes to allow the sauce to slightly reduce.
