As simple as it gets, folks. You could of course build up your own tomato sauce from scratch using diced tomato, vegetable stock, salt & pepper, cumin and so forth. But this recipe is meant to throw something together quickly with ingredients from the cupboard.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 3 clove Garlic
- 1/2 White Onion
- 2 tablespoon Oregano
- 2 tablespoon Basil
- 1 tablespoon Thyme
- 15 ounce Tomato Sauce
- 13 ounce FirmEST Tofu
Directions
- Bring enough water to boil for whatever quantity of pasta you wish to make.
- While the past cooks, heat up a skillet to medium and cook your diced onion until slightly translucent.
- Add garlic and all of the herbs and cook for a few minutes.
- Crumble tofu directly in to the skillet and pour in your tomato sauce.
- Cook a few more minutes to allow the sauce to slightly reduce.
